Yes, we are proud of it. We are proud of this partly because having a foundry that you own and have complete control over is unique in the world of karting, and partly because the Stefanello family company has refined a special technique for processing materials: low-pressure casting
The process
The rims obtained by the specific low-pressure casting production process are of the highest quality. The key aspect, however, is having very little porosity, which is generally typical for this element. If, therefore, magnesium rims usually require surface coating to fill the microholes given by porosity and thus avoid air leakage, AMV rims do not need such coverage, which benefits heat exchange.
